The Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce 2022 Heroes Luncheon was a smashing success. A full house in the Rush Park Auditorium enjoyed a fun event kicked off by the Los Alamitos High School Show Choir under the direction of Dr. David Moellenkamp, who performing an inspiring set of show tunes.

The master of ceremonies was the always entertaining and delightful Los Al Unified Superintendent, Dr. Andrew Pulver, who kept the show moving along at a quick pace.

Following the traditional hero introductions and acknowledging all retired military and first responders in the audience, the awards were presented by the respective organizations:

        • California Highway Patrol – Officer Christopher Williams
        • JFTB 40th Infantry – SSG Angelica Castaneda
        • 79th Theater Sustainment Command (JFTB) – SPC Justices Taylor
        • Los Alamitos Medical Center – Director Theresa Shoup
        • U.S. Navy – MA1 (SW/AW) Christian T. Guerrero
        • Los Alamitos Police Department – Detective Evan Flynn
        • Orange County Fire Authority – Elizabeth Denney
        • Orange County Sheriff’s Department – Deputy Adrian Rodriguez
